Consultation has concluded
What is Wagga View?
We all have a view of what the future should look like and the actions we need to take to get there. Wagga View is how we collaborate these views and come up with solutions as a community.
We have developed this online hub to be a gathering point for community discussion. It is a space where you can be involved in projects, strategy, policy development and a range of other online consultation.
We recognise that community members and other stakeholders have a lot to offer. You all bring a unique set of skills, expertise and community experience, and we want make sure that we are including all this when we plan for our community.
Council is responsible for a range of decisions and actions that directly affect your lives. This is why are are seeking your input. We want to ensure that everyone in our community has a chance to share their view on the matters that are important to them.
We recognise your time is valuable. This community engagement hub, called Wagga View, is here for when you want it, to contribute to the growth of our community.
So Why Wagga View?
Wagga View was the name of the community consultation we held in 2016, where we asked you to share your aspirations, goals and priorities for the future of the City. We received over 3,000 responses from the community. These responses became the foundation of our Community Strategic Plan, which we named Wagga View 2040. This plan sets out what we want the future to look like and has strategies on how we will get there. Everything that we do here at Wagga Wagga City Council aligns to this plan.
You can find out more information about the initial consultation and the Community Strategic Plan below.
