Stormwater harvesting for Tatton Drain to be investigated
A detailed investigation and preparation of a detailed design, specification and cost estimates will be undertaken for the installation and ongoing operation of a stormwater diversion structure in the Tatton Drain.
At the October 2015 Council Meeting is was also resolved to proceed with the assessment of opportunities for harvesting additional inflows from the floodplain to the east of Crooked Creek.
A budget variation of $50,000 was endorsed to undertake the work, with $25,000 drawn from the Lake Albert Improvement reserve and $25,000 from stormwater reserve.
