Consultation has concluded

Over the past five years or so Wagga Wagga City Council has been working to implement a range of recommendations in the Lake Albert Management Plan 2009-2015.

Some of these completed projects include:

  • Bosley Park Amenities Upgrade
  • Bosley Park Erosion Remediation
  • Stringybark Creek Remediation
  • Crooked Creek Remediation
A full list of recent works can be found here.

But there is still more work to do and a review of the plan is underway.

Council is seeking input from the community on the future of the Lake Albert precinct to ensure that it continues to be a space that is enjoyed by all resident and visitors to the city.

Possible future projects include:

  • Lake Albert Wetlands
  • Dragonboat shed
  • Apex Park Improvements
  • Lights 4 Lake (a Committee 4 Wagga project)
