    As a community it's important for us to have a document that defines how we want to grow into the future. We also need to outline what we want and need as a community now. This document is a community strategic plan that guides us all in how to achieve these goals and how we can measure if we are on track or not.

    Flood Management is something that affects us all and Wagga Wagga City Council is continuing a long term conversation with the community regarding all aspects of flood management.

    Council is looking for your input into how we as a community manage living on the floodplain and has a number of projects and plans underway.


  • Unreasonable Complainant Contact Policy

    The draft Unreasonable Complainant Contact policy was developed to guide staff on how to manage community compaint situations. The policy acknowledges this contact can happen in a variety of ways including face to face, over the telephone, email and on social media.

    Council put their draft policy on exhibition and asked the community to provide feedback on it


  • Tarcutta Street Former Gasworks Remediation

    Wagga Wagga City Council undertook a remediation of the former Gasworks site in Tarcutta Street. We invited the community to share their stories and memories of this iconic site.
