Public Art Policy and Plan on public exhibition
Residents are being encouraged to have their say on the policy and revised plan that will guide the development of public art initiatives in Wagga Wagga and surrounds.
Mayor of the City of Wagga Wagga, Councillor Greg Conkey OAM, said the Public Art Policy POL 109 and revised Enliven Public Art Plan 2017- 2021 have been developed in consultation with the community, stakeholders and Councillors.
“There are some significant changes from the previous Policy in terms of how Council funds public art so it is important everyone takes the time to look at the documents and provide their feedback,” he said.
The Public Art Policy POL 109 and revised Enliven Public Art Plan 2017- 2021 are on public exhibition until 10 October and can be viewed online or at Council’s Customer Service Desk.
