Development Servicing Plan Stormwater 2020

The draft Development Servicing Plan (DSP) Stormwater 2020 and the draft Implementation Guide for the DSP Stormwater 2020 are now on public exhibition. You are encouraged to review the documents and make a submission to Council.

The DSP Stormwater calculates a Section 64 Stormwater infrastructure contribution based on forecasted population growth, identified assets in the existing network and future infrastructure required to support development.

The Implementation Guide provides direction in the application of the Section 64 Stormwater infrastructure contributions and makes the framework easier to understand for all stakeholders and for Council to implement.

To make a submission persons should do so before 12 August 2020. Submissions are to be made in writing and delivered to Wagga Wagga City Council, mailed to the General Manager, Wagga Wagga City Council PO Box 20 Wagga Wagga NSW 2560, emailed to council@wagga.nsw.gov.au or via the form below.

    We listened!

    Thank you so much to everyone who came to our first stakeholder meeting.

    Based on your feedback, we’ve been busy reviewing and updating the draft DSP Section 64 Stormwater infrastructure contribution rates.

    We’ll circulate the new draft rates as soon as we can.

    In the meantime, we’ve decided to postpone our second stakeholder meeting (which was to be this Thursday 23 July).

    To assist in the review of the draft Development Servicing Plan (DSP) Stormwater and Implementation Guide, we are conducting two stakeholder meetings where you will have an opportunity to ask questions and provide initial feedback.

    The meetings are both in the Council Meeting Room at the Civic Centre - 243 Baylis St.

    The first meeting is on Thursday 9 July 2020 at 4pm and the second is on Thursday 23 July 2020 at 9am. Please pick a suitable meeting time and RSVP to a meeting to Lilly Rapley, Executive Assistant to Director Regional Activation at Rapley.Lilly@wagga.nsw.gov.au.

    Wagga Wagga City Council has updated the plan setting stormwater infrastructure contributions for development and has released the plan for public exhibition.
